To support the Promotions Manager with all aspects of the planning, coordination and implementation of promotions to deliver on time promotional launches that can be effective and efficiently achieved by stores.
To support store specific requirements. This will also include supporting some aspects of stock management.Main duties and responsibilities
Support the Promotions Manager to plan and manage the promotional calendar.
Support the Promotions Manager to plan and manage the critical path to deliver the promotional calendar taking into account all necessary lead times.
Support the Promotions Manager to ensure all promotion briefs are clear (LY performance, key objectives / headline messages for wave) and briefed in to the teams in line with the critical path.
Support the Promotions Manager/Trading Finance Manager to manage day to day promotional campaign process ensuring milestones (nominations deadline, physical build & commercials lock down) for each campaign are delivered on time and to brief.
Effective communication to ensure key stakeholders are kept informed of agreed and any changes to planned activity.
Work with Space Planning to build promotional merchandising planograms and running them through their lifecycle to create the accurate and timely ranging. Using JDA Intactix.
Work with Communications Team to develop promotional communication packs for effective and efficient in-store and online implementation.
Work with Marketing Team to ensure all POS requirements to support promotional campaign are delivered.
Support the Promotions Manager and Special Projects Manager to manage the relevant price files, multibuy events on multiple platforms and required ticketing.
Create weekly booking schedules for FOB container intake to DC. Cross referenced to SKU availability and required launch dates.
Periodic store visits with the Promotions Manager/Space Planning and District Managers to assess and review promotional communication, activity and implementation.
Work with buyers regarding actions for exit plans and underperforming promotional lines.
Support store specific stock requirements by managing replenishment parameters to ensure optimum product availability (Promotional, Seasonal and Range lines).
Managing the store POS sundries and consumables to ensure continuity of supply, when appropriate and within the budget. Enthusiastic self-starter
Highly analytical and numerate with excellent attention to detail
Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
Confident communicator with excellent relationship management skills
