Whether you work in a store, our warehouse or in one of our offices, you’ll notice the fast paced nature of our business and our focus on great customer service. No two days are the same when working for Robert Dyas but while we work hard, everyone helps each other out and that makes for an unbeatable team spirit. In fact, one of our values is “making money while having fun”!

There’s a real sense of pride throughout the business and although we’ve grown and changed over the years, the family atmosphere lives on. LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

We don’t just sell great products; we also offer great career opportunities. We recognise the value of training and developing our colleagues and offer a range of training and development opportunities and tools for colleagues. We offer Apprenticeships at Level 2 in Retail Skills and at Level 3 in Management, which are supported by our Learning and Development Department and our training partner, Fareport Training.

We are currently rolling out e-learning to all our sites that will enable all our colleagues to access training resources and tailor their learning to how and when it suits them best. We pride ourselves on promoting from within and retaining our best people, giving colleagues the resources to help them shine.

Colleagues from Robert Dyas are regular faces at the Retail Trust Oxford Summer School and the Retail Week Rising Stars Awards. At Robert Dyas we are dedicated to learning which means that we work hard to achieve results whilst constantly striving to develop and enhance our knowledge and skills.
