Describe your career to date including why you joined Robert Dyas:
With previous retail management experience, on re-location to Surrey I joined Robert Dyas as Manager of our Epsom store. I then became Supervisor in 2002 when I decided to work part-time. The main reason I joined Robert Dyas was because I liked the history of the company.
What does a typical day in your role involve?
Working with the team, making sure the store is presented beautifully, customers are served, no queues, gaps are filled, price checks are done, aisles are kept clear, and paper-work is in order.
What’s the best thing about working for Robert Dyas?
Having a secure job and a career I love. Working for a company who treats you as an individual and cares. Most of all the job satisfaction.
