Group Events Coordinator (FTC)

Location: South London

Type: Full-time

WHO’S RIGHT FOR THE ROLE
The role requires an individual with a collaborative approach who is able to work with a variety of stakeholders across the four brands within the Theo Paphitis Retail Group (TPRG), as well as having the ability to work productively independently. The ability to adapt and learn about the TPRG culture as well as the individual brand values is essential. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Work with the Group Events Manager in sourcing venues, hotels and catering, arrange the provision of supporting technology and coordinate development of materials to execute a quality event
  • First line email response with event delegates/guests and event material creation such as checklist, badges etc.
  • Coordinate the arrangement of logistics relating to the event (travel, accommodation and any special or individual requirements)
  • Show initiative and confidently make decisions towards the success of an event, taking authority where necessary and appropriate as advised by the Group Events Manager
  • The ability to structure and understand detailed events budget and the importance to adhere to the identified expenditure
  • Adhere to all TPRG account management procedures
  • Collection and collation of data and post event feedback
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN YOU 
  • Likely to be an events graduate
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office or Google products and Photoshop desirable
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills
  • High level of written and verbal skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised and effective at time management; able to plan and prioritise
  • Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines and be adaptable and flexible
  • Resilient and pragmati but with a common sense approach
  • Good at identifying and solving problems or using initiative
  • The desire to learn and develop 
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm
  • A pro-active approach but calm and focussed in a pressured situation
